Samhain and Wings

Transcription:

Dear Faeries,
I hope that you will have a happy Halloween.  I am eight, so can I please have wings?  My name is Masey and I love nature.  I lastly believe in faeries.

Love, Masey

Anwer:

Dear Masey,

We are happy to hear that you love nature.  While we do understand your request for wings, we will grant them to you in this way:  Every time you watch a bird in flight, their wings will be yours to soar with them in spirit.
We always enjoy Halloween - which is a tradition we began long ago, and called it Samhain.  We would come collecting for our part in a good harvest, and people would leave us some treats in payment.  If not, we would have to work some mischief.  Then children began joining in, which made it even more fun.
Enjoy your new wings.

Love, the Faeries
