Hi Mr Fairy
Please send me a baby sister or brother.
We talked this over amongst ourselves. For many reasons, we think you should just ask your mother if she wants to have another baby. One reason is that it is dangerous to involve faeries in the bringing of a child - we tend to get attached to the wee one, and may steal him or her for ourselves, leaving you a changeling (an enchanted stock of wood, moss and mud, animated to appear and move like a baby until the spell wears off) in his or her place. And then the only hint you would have of your brother or sister is on the Solstice when we all dance until the dawn and you may see revelling among the faery lights, an ever young and blissful child who does not remember you in the least. So please ask your parents about having a baby, or maybe just giving you a goldfish for now.
